The laser cutting machine needs to be equipped with auxiliary gases, mainly oxygen, nitrogen and air. When processing the workpiece, the fiber laser cutting machine is irradiated by the focused laser spot, and the irradiated area instantly melts and evaporates, and then the laser spot irradiation position is moved by the numerical control equipment system to realize automatic cutting.
1. Compressed air.
Air is suitable for cutting aluminum and galvanized steel sheets. To a certain extent, it can reduce the oxide film and save costs. Generally, it is used when the cutting board is thick and does not require high cutting end faces.
2. Nitrogen.
Nitrogen is an inert gas, which prevents oxidation of the cut end of the product during cutting and prevents burning (it is easy to occur when the plate is thick. Nitrogen can be used for products that require a high cut end and are not exposed to the outside.
3. Oxygen.
It acts as a combustion-supporting agent and can increase the cutting speed and thickness. Oxygen is suitable for thick plate cutting, high speed cutting and thin plate cutting, such as some large carbon steel and some thick carbon steel structural parts. Oxygen can be used. Increasing the gas pressure can increase the cutting speed, but after reaching the set value, continuing to increase the gas pressure will cause the cutting speed to decrease.
In the case of higher auxiliary gas pressure, the reason for the decrease in cutting speed is due to the enhancement of the cooling effect of the airflow and the enhancement of the affected area. Intermittent shock waves in the airflow will interfere with the cooling of the laser area. The unevenness of pressure and temperature in the airflow will cause the change of the density of the airflow field.
This density gradient changes the refractive index in the field, causing focusing or beam divergence. This interference will affect the melting efficiency, and sometimes change the mode structure, resulting in a decrease in cutting quality. If the divergence of the beam is too large, the spot size may be too large and may even cause serious consequences, making it impossible to cut effectively.
Application of auxiliary gas:
1. Compressed air: It is widely used in the processing of certain sheet metal chassis and other products.
2. Nitrogen: the processing of some decorative industries, aerospace and other parts;
The laser cutting machine uses different auxiliary gases to cut different materials. The pressure and required flow rate of the auxiliary gas vary with the thickness of the cutting material.
The computers we often use in our daily work, the cabinets we often touch in our daily lives, and the electrical cabinets and safes at home are all metal cabinets. Although this laser cutting machine is not impressive, it plays an important role.
The right-hand assistant of the box
laser cutting machine "p> box" refers to the box processed with sheet metal processing equipment. Manufacturers of machine room equipment, safety cabinets and power distribution cabinets for filing cabinets choose laser cutting equipment, focusing on the stability, speed and high precision of the equipment, and do not need to perform secondary processing on the workpiece, which greatly improves production efficiency and reduces production cost.
At the same time, due to increasingly fierce market competition, various small batch products are becoming more and more popular in the market. The flexible processing method of laser cutting greatly improves the quality of products, and also greatly shortens the development and production cycle, which brings strong competitiveness to customers.
Laser cutting uses "beam" instead of traditional mechanical knives. It has the advantages of fast cutting speed, smooth cut, and generally does not require post-processing. Laser cutting is suitable for almost all types of metal materials, no matter simple or complex parts, it can be precisely and quickly formed at one time. Through software drawing and cutting work, not only can realize the diversification of products, but also greatly reduce the cost of molds.
Advantages of metal laser cutting machine in cabinet processing:
No contact processing, no direct impact on the workpiece, so there is no mechanical deformation;
The laser cutting machine has no tool wear, which saves costs;
In the process of laser cutting machine processing, the energy density of the laser beam is high, the processing speed is fast, and it is local processing, which has little effect on non-laser irradiated parts. Therefore, the heat-affected area is small, and the thermal deformation of the workpiece is small;
Because the laser beam is easy to guide, focus, realize the direction change, and cooperate with the numerical control system and processing complex workpieces, it is a very flexible processing method, which has the advantages of high production efficiency, stable and reliable processing quality, and good economic and social benefits.
Traditional sheet metal processing technologies include plasma cutting, flame cutting, punching, etc., but traditional processing technologies have not yet reached people's aesthetic requirements. Now, laser cutting has been freely used in various sheet metal processing,
On the one hand, the processing efficiency and speed of the
laser cutting machine are relatively fast. On the other hand, the samples cut by the laser cutting machine are as smooth as a mirror and do not need to be processed twice, which is also conducive to the sales of sheet metal manufacturers. Therefore, laser cutting machines are used in cabinet cutting.
