Sheet metal cutting technology, summed up laser cutting, plasma cutting, flame cutting, plate shears, stamping and so on.For a variety of plates, a variety of different graphic parts requirements, as advanced manufacturing technology and green manufacturing technology, sheet metal laser cutting technology is played incisively and vividly. In the future, with the wide application of high-power laser cutting equipment, the sheet metal processing technology revolution will be more and more long-term development.

With the continuous improvement of beam quality of high-power laser, laser as a precise processing method, laser cutting can cut almost all materials, including two-dimensional or three-dimensional cutting of thin metal plate. It can be focused into minute spots and can be used for fine and precision machining, such as the machining of tiny narrow slits and micro-holes.

Laser cutting USES a high-power density laser beam to illuminate the cut material, which is quickly heated to the vaporization temperature and vaporized to form holes. As the beam moves towards the material, the holes continuously form slit with very narrow width to complete the cutting of the material. When laser is used to cut stainless steel, high-pressure nitrogen and laser beam will be used to inject coaxial method to blow away the molten metal so that no oxide will form on the cutting surface. This is a good method, but it costs more than conventional oxygen cutting. One alternative to pure nitrogen is to use filtered workshop compressed air, which is 78% nitrogen. The use of filtered compressed air in laser cutting is faster than the use of oxygen or nitrogen, which makes the data range from 300ipm to 320ipm. Although some investment in equipment, filtering and compressed air is required, the long-term cost is relatively low compared to the cost of "traditional" auxiliary gases.

Laser energy is now in focus, and using compressed air can create plasma spheres on the surface of the metal, similar to the cutting effect of a CNC plasma cutter using electricity.Plasma transfers heat more efficiently than light does.

Compressed air assisted cutting also achieves the same edge quality as assembly cutting using oxygen or nitrogen. The edges of the cut need to be cleaned sufficiently to allow most of the powder coating to adhere to the cut without further cleaning. The size of the resonator was a significant limitation when compressed air was first chosen for assisted laser cutting.Today, high-watt-watt laser cutters are typically more than 4, 000 watts, making air-assisted cutting of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum up to 1/8-inch thick an effective method.A laser cutter with a 6,000 w resonator can cut up to 3/8 of an inch thick.

With high efficiency, high energy density and softness, laser cutting is the first choice in the sheet metal cutting industry in terms of precision, speed and efficiency. Some traditional difficult cutting or cutting quality is not high plate, the use of laser cutting can be solved, especially some of the processing of carbon steel plate, laser cutting is handy.
