Laser cutting several major processing advantages

Good cutting quality: laser cutting point small, high energy density, fast cutting speed, so laser cutting can get better cutting quality.

Advantages of laser cutting can be summarized in the following aspects:

1. Good cutting quality:
   Laser cutting points are small, energy density is high, and cutting speed is fast, so laser cutting can get better cutting quality.The cutting quality of laser cutting can be divided into the following points:

(1) Laser cutting incision is thin and narrow. The slit is parallel to both sides and perpendicular to the surface. The dimension precision of the cutting part can reach ±0.05mm.

 

(2) Cutting surface is clean and beautiful, and the surface roughness is only tens of microns. Laser cutting can be used even in the last process. No mechanical processing is required, and the parts can be used directly.

 

(3) After laser cutting of the material, the width of the heat-affected area is very small, the performance of the material near the cutting joints has almost no influence, the workpiece is out of shape, the cutting precision is high, the geometry of the cutting joints is good, and the shape of the cross section of the cutting joints shows a relatively ordinary rectangle.

 2. High cutting efficiency:

   Due to the transmission characteristics of laser, laser cutting machine is generally equipped with multiple CNC worktables, the whole cutting process can be completely CNC.When operating, only need to change the NC program, can be applied to the cutting of different shape parts, can carry out 2d cutting, can also achieve 3D cutting.

 

3. Fast cutting speed: 
   Use 1200W laser to cut 2mm thick low carbon steel plate, cutting speed up to 15000px/min;Cutting 5mm thick polypropylene resin board, cutting speed up to 300px /min.Laser cutting does not need to clamp the fixed material, saving the tool and LT;Clamping device saves auxiliary loading time.

 

4. Non-contact cutting:
   Cutting torch does not contact with the workpiece during laser cutting, and the cutter does not wear.To process parts of different shapes, there is no need to change the "tool", only need to change the laser output parameters.

 

 5. Many kinds of cutting material:
   Compared with the oxyacetylene cutting and plasma cutting, there are many kinds of laser cutting materials, including metal, nonmetal, base metal and nonmetal matrix composite materials, leather, wood and fiber, such as research, different materials, different laser cutting adaptability because of their different thermal physical properties and laser absorption rate.

 

   From the above points we can see that laser cutting is not only the best choice in the cutting industry, but also an essential part of the cutting work!
